Good for laptops
Spent a while looking for a new mouse after a disappointing trial of the Memorex optical wireless (rubbish). This is perfect for a laptop but possible a little fiddly for intensive gameplay..

Fantastic
Have you ever bought something, thought it was great and then regretted your purchase: Phil Collins album, Sinclair C5, Sony Betamax video, Wimbledon home-game season ticket etc?
This is NOT one of those items. It is, quite simply, the best mouse ever made.
It is incredibly light, it is incredibly smooth and accurate (why arent all mice this precise?) and it is incredibly tactile.
It is small in the hand; suddenly all other mice feel WAY too big.
The cord is short but, but not too short.
I almost forgot to mention the way the red laser shines out of the translucent sides - gain the repect and admiration of the worlds nerds just for that, alone!
Buy one. Everybody who has used mine has and Im writing this review as I buy my second; for my partner, she insists on having one too!
If none of this convinces you, think of poor old Bill Gates. He needs the money.
A great product.

too small
I bought this mouse to carry around with my iBook. With the USB ports on the iBook being on the left and me being right handed, the cable (approx. 65 cm long) just about manages to stretch round the back of the machine to sit on the right with enough length in the cable to use it. If long cables annoy you then this setup will be ideal, but I find it uncomfortable not to have more length to play with.
The mouse itself is very small, (approx. 8.5 cm long x 5 cm wide x 3 cm high) too small in my opinion, straining my fingers after several hours of use. If you like to rest your palm on top of your mouse then forget it, as only child-sized hands could grip in this way.
If you want a mouse to replace your pad or pointer where portability is the key, then this mouse is small enough to slip into any case. But for extended use (2+ hours) I suggest you make more space in your pocket and go for a standard desktop optical mouse.
